How it works
The Catch System increases the probability of catching a Pokémon, avoiding extreme damage.
Based on the price of balls used, it determines how much money you have spent in total so far. The probability of catching a Pokémon increases as your spending approaches or exceeds its value in NPC Heather's (Pokémon) store.
Notes
- The Catch System does not guarantee a profit. Occasionally, it is possible - and quite likely - that you will spend more balls than the Pokémon is worth in order to capture it.
- Any number of balls used to catch a Pokémon can be considered normal; it's just bad luck. As the Catch System is integrated, it is impossible for a single catch to be a bug. In other words, if a bug were to appear in this system, it would affect all players simultaneously and prevent them from catching any Pokémon.
- The Catch System is only applied if your character is at the same level or higher as the Pokémon you are trying to catch.
- Pokémon considered rare by the PokeXGames team are not included in the Catch System.
