Regional Level

The Regional Level system was developed to ensure a new dynamic in the Johto region, allowing everyone to explore the continent in a balanced way, regardless of their level on other continents. As such, characters will have two types of levels in the game:

• Level: is the character's overall and final level, reflecting their progress across all continents in the game.
• Regional Level: a temporary and exclusive Johto level, ranging from 5 to 200, allowing players to progress within the region in their own way.

Upon reaching level 200 in the Johto region, the player “regains” all their strength and unlocks full access to advanced content. The player's level, as well as the Regional Level, can be viewed in their Profile via the standard shortcut P.

Notes:

• Regardless of the character's current level (e.g., 400), when entering the Johto region for the first time, their strength will be temporarily adjusted to the equivalent of level 5 only within that region. This allows players to enjoy a unique progression and fully explore the challenges of Johto. As you advance, your strength will gradually be released until you reach your full strength again to face the most challenging content.
• As you progress through Johto, once you reach Regional Level 200, your character will unlock their original level (in this example, they will once again have the strength of a level 400). From that moment on, they will be able to continue exploring the Johto region at full strength (level 400) and venture into more challenging content.
• The Johto Regional Level must be completed only once per account. If the player has other characters above level 200 and prefers to skip this step, they can enter Johto directly with their original level without receiving the rewards. However, it is possible to repeat the journey if you wish to revisit the experience and obtain the rewards.
• Players can choose which region they want to play in, traveling freely between Kanto and Johto, each with its own respective level.
• Upon reaching Regional Level 200, all EXP received in Johto up to that point will be added to the character's original level.
