Introduction
Mechanics are people who have specialized skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering, making it possible to manufacture a variety of useful materials for players.
Becoming a Mechanic
To join this specialization, you'll need to talk to the NPC Dustin. He can be found in the specializations area in the underground of the Nightmare World's Cerulean Pokémon Centre, along with the mentors of the other specializations.

Outfits
On becoming a Mechanic, the player receives the outfit for their specialization.
First Steps
The first step, as with the other professions, is to buy the resource-gathering item, the 
Mechanic Tablet as soon as you become a mechanic, from the NPC Billy. It's also possible to buy a 
Blacksteel Pickaxe which collects the profession's common resource faster in and out of Nightmare World.
Exclusive Resource
The exclusive mechanic resource is obtained by studying the robotic creatures scattered around the map, using the Mechanic Tablet to obtain 
Tech Data.
Tip:
You can use the 
High Tech Device to transform Tech Data into 
Corrupted Iron Ore.

Common Resource
The common resource between mechanic and hacker is the Corrupted Iron Ore, this resource is obtained from the ores of Nightmare World using the standard 
Pickaxe of the Engineer profession or the Blacksteel Pickaxe which is obtained from the NPC Dustin. There are two types of ore that can be found in the hunting grounds.
With Corrupted Iron Ore, mechanics will be able to make technological furniture, Nightmare Balls and Beast Balls.
Exclusive Crafts
Mechanics are responsible for creating various items such as the 
Mecha Device, 
Enhancement Kit and others.
