Introduction

The Designer is responsible for the aesthetics of your Pokémon and your characters, creating Addons and Outfits. They can also make the Critical Catch Charm, an important item for those who have catching Pokémon as a game objective.

Becoming a Designer

To choose this specialization, after completing the Quest Introduction to Specializations, the player must go to the basement of the Cerulean Resistance Pokémon Center in Nightmare World and look for the NPC Ryas, who will offer the choice between the two specializations.

First Steps

To collect resources, the Designer can use two tools: the Woodcutter's Axe and the Designer Drawing Book. To buy these tools, the player must go to the NPC Lillian.

Common Resource

The basic Rank S resource is the Purpleheart Log, shared by Designers and Decorators, and can be obtained using the Woodcutter's Axe in the Nightmare World trees. The two specializations can use it to craft various items in the S Rank Workshop, such as Totems, Capsules and Cameras.

Exclusive Resource

The exclusive resource for Designers is the Nightmare Style Point, which is obtained by using the Designer Drawing Book on the body of defeated Pokémon. The collection is proportional to the difficulty of the hunt, i.e. on a hunt that is considered hard, the player will receive more points per Pokémon defeated. In addition, by defeating a Shiny or Angry Pokémon, the player receives a bonus in the collection. With this resource, some items can be crafted in the S Rank Workshop and the Designer Workshop. The Designer Workshop is an exclusive Workshop for Designers that contains various Addons, Outfits, Recipes and the exclusive Wingsuit. Like the exclusive resources of the other specializations, it can be transformed into the common resource with the use of a High-Tech Device.

Exclusivity

The Wingsuit is an accessory to facilitate travel in the Nigthmare World, taking the player from one Resistance to another at no cost. It can only be made by Designers, but its use is open to any Stylist.
