Tall Grass System

Tall Grass is added to some commemorative events. When present in the game, it can be found at various hunting spots on the map. When you pass through them, there is a chance that a Pokémon or special Crystals will appear, depending on the location.

Notes:

- It takes 4 minutes for the grass to grow back. In Nightmare World, it takes 6 minutes.
- The tall grass respawn is fixed. Therefore, it will always be spawned in the same place it was found.
- Some Pokémon found in that grass can drop Shining Grass, which can be sold at NPC Mark.

The Grass

What will appear of the Tall Grass varies according to the region:

There is a high chance of the hunting location's own Pokémon appearing, just as there is also a chance of a Shiny version of the location's Pokémon appearing.

In the Kangaskhan spawns at the Fuchsia Safari and the Happiny spawns at the Johto Safari, there is a high chance for them to appear, and a slightly lower chance for a Chansey to appear.

There is a high chance for a specific Pokémon to appear during each event. All of them grant experience and have special loot.

There is a chance that a Nightmare Crystal will appear.

There is a high chance of the main Pokémon appearing, and there is also a lower chance of the T1H from the cave in question appearing, both on Cosmic Island and Desert Island.
