Introduction

Currently, it is possible to travel within Nightmare World in several different ways, to access other resistances, islands, strategic points within the continent, and even travel to other continents. Each type of transportation has its own peculiarities, requirements, and destinations, which will be explained below.

Excadrill

NPC Hugh

The Cinnabar resistance is led by Hugh, and he is responsible for the project that connects all cities underground so that players can travel a little less dangerously with Excadrill. In order to use Excadrill transportation in the resistance, you must have completed the Transport Missions. Each resistance has a mission, and by completing it, the player unlocks only the transportation that departs from that resistance. To start the missions, the player must talk to Hugh and then go to the NPCs responsible for each resistance.
Only VIP account players can travel using Excadrill.

Boost

At times, Excadrill may become frightened during the journey and abandon you halfway through, but there is an upgrade option that allows the player to travel for 7 consecutive days without any chance of falling (this period continues to count even outside of NW or offline) and with improved speed. This upgrade can be purchased from the NPC Hugh in Cinnabar, at a cost of 300k in cash and 5   Nightmare Tokens.
The images below show the difference between traveling without boost and with boost activated, respectively.

It is possible to accumulate more than 7 days, and to check how much time you have available, simply open your character's profile in the Nightmare World area.

Players who have the Cook specialization do not need to pay for the upgrade, thanks to an agreement between the resistance leaders and the NPC Hugh. This way, they always travel safely using Excadrill.

Cost

Excadrill's trip costs 20k, but by contributing to Hugh's project by purchasing the transportation upgrade, the player receives a discount on each trip, which now costs 10k. Cooks, due to their agreement with Hugh, always pay 10k.

Missions

In order to use transportation in a given city, players must first complete a mission provided by the corresponding NPC. Missions can be found on the Transport Missions page.

Location

Once the task is complete, to use the transport, simply go to the NPC and choose your destination.

Escape Rope

It is not possible to use the teleport skill inside the Nightmare World, but upon completing all access quests, the player will be able to purchase an   escape rope in Cerulean from the NPC Hugo. The NPC is located to the left of the CP, up the stairs.

The escape rope is a unique and consumable item, meaning it cannot be lent or sold, and it is advisable to always keep a "stock" of them.

To use it, the player must recall their Pokémon to their ball and dismount any mount, then right-click on the item, and in a few seconds they will be teleported to their home town in the Nightmare World. While the rope is loading, it is not possible to use Pokémon or move, so you need to pay close attention to the right moment to use it.

Abandonment

If the player does not have the Excadrill upgrade active on their character, it is possible that it will get scared and abandon them halfway through.

In every location where it is possible to be abandoned, there is a locker so that players can switch Pokémon and prepare for the enemies they will face on their way out.

These are the places where Excadrill can abandon the player:

1) Fire area: The path has Pansear and Nightmare Magby.
To find the exit, the player must climb the stairs and follow the corridor to the south of the island, where they can use Magikarp to return.

2) Cemetery: The path has Alolan Meowth and Darkrai Minion.
The exit will be at the cemetery between Pallet and Pewter.

3) Pewter: The path only has Darkrai Minion.
Following the path, you will find the exit near Pewter.

4) Beedrill: The path only has Beedrill.
The exit will be to the right of Beedrill's respawn point, near Cerulean.

5) Fight club: The path has Darkrai Minion and Nightmare Machoke.
To find the exit, the player must climb the stairs to the southwest to the underground level of Nightmare Machoke's respawn. Climbing the stairs on the right, the player must head north to exit Fight Club and then turn right to reach Lavender.

6) Safari abandonado: The path only has Litleo.
To find the exit, the player must climb the stairs in the Safari's underground area, then head straight right to reach Fuchsia.
