Introduction

Cooks are masters in the art of cooking, using the resources collected from defeated pokémon to create a variety of delicious foods. In addition, the food prepared by Cooks provides temporary buffs to the Pokémon that consume it, making it essential for facing challenges and maximizing performance in difficult battles, especially in Boss Fights such as the Legendary Beasts, Nightmare Terrors and others.
Cooks can also create food that helps rare pokémon appear on a hunt.

Becoming a Cook

To join this specialization, the player must go to the Specialization Center, located underground in the Cerulean resistance Pokémon Center, and talk to the NPC Jones, who is responsible for appointing the player as a Cook.

Cook's Outfits

As they spend a lot of time cooking, the Cooks are given a special outfit so that they can carry out their tasks without worrying about getting their clothes dirty:

Resources

Food Bags

Food Bags are the exclusive resource of the specialization, which are used for most Cook crafts.
It is obtained by collecting the loot of fainted pokémon, the amount obtained varying according to the strength of the pokémon that was defeated.
You can use the   Profession Resource Boost to increase the collection of   Food Bags.

Nightmare Chests

Just as outside the Nightmare World adventurers collect Gold Bars, in the Nightmare World they can collect   Corrupted Gold Bars, which can be used to create various items in the Adventurer Workshop S.
Another version of the Gold bar are the  Strange Gold Bars, which are a scarcer and more difficult resource to obtain, used in the manufacture of   Golden Finders and   Silver Finders.
It is also possible to obtain the   Nightmare Treasure Maps, which are used to find hidden chests in the Nightmare World.
You can obtain these resources by opening the Nightmare Chests that can be found in the Nightmare World.

Tip:

You can use the   High Tech Device to transform   Food Bags into   Corrupted Gold Bars.

Daily Cook

The Cooks are known throughout Nightmare for their delicious food, and several trainers of all resistances order from them every day.
The Cooks daily delivery mission consists of distributing food to certain NPCs in the Nightmare World resistances.
The rewards are fixed and individual for each NPC:

Individual Reward
  50 hundred dollars (5k)
  2 Nightmare cooking tokens
  250 nightmare experience points

Notes:

  • Each Npc can only receive 1 food daily, resetting every day on Server Save at 7:40 (BRT).
  • The foods requested by the Npcs are random, but will always be tier 1 (1% foods).
  • Each resistance contains 2 Npcs who request food, totaling 12 Npcs.

Exclusive Travel

The Cooks have a generous exclusivity to facilitate the service to the residents in the most diverse Resistances.
This way, their travel costs between the Resistances are reduced and their travel speed is increased, so they can travel more frequently to fulfill a variety of requests.

This exclusivity affects the Excadrill Transport, reducing its cost from 20k to 10k and increasing its speed.

Notes:

  • The speed of the Boost purchased from NPC Hugh and the speed of the Cook Boost do not accumulate, meaning there is no need to buy Hugh's Boost.
  • The Cook Bonus also prevents the excadrill from getting spooked, thus avoiding dropping the player in the middle of respawns.

Exclusive Workshops

Cooks are experts when it comes to cooking, so they decided to create their own equipment, which helps them master their culinary techniques and create totally unique foods.
