Alchemist

Introduction

'Alchemists’ are responsible for creating very important items for high-level players, such as Pink Star Piece (Boost +80), Philosopher's Stone, Ganlon Berry, exclusive Elixires, among others.

Becoming an Alchemist

To join this specialization, the player must go to the Specialization Center, located underground in the Cerulean resistance Pokémon Center, and talk to the NPC Fhistel, who is responsible for appointing the player as an Alchemist.

Alchemist's Outfits

Upon becoming an ‘’'Alchemist'‘’, the player receives the outfit for their specialization.

Resources

Alchemists can make their collections using the Tablet and the Alchemist Empty Becker.

To buy their work tools, the player must go to the NPC Darwin, which is located next to the NPC Fhistel.

In addition, this NPC will allow the player to buy Medicinal Leaves, Gardening Bag, Alchemist Empty Becker, Mortar and Tablet.

These items will be extremely important for the Alchemist.

Base Resource

By using the Tablet, the player can collect the souls of the Darkrai Minion and the Nightmare Crystal.

This type of gathering is common between the two Professor specializations (Alchemist and Academic).

By killing Darkrai Minions, the player can "study" the creatures' bodies to acquire Darkrai Essences.

By defeating Nightmare Crystals, the player can use the tablet on the destroyed Crystal to receive 1 Black Darkrai Essence.

Note: The player can study these creatures and entities without having defeated them. To do so, they must be in the same group as the person who defeated them.

Mortar

Mortar is an item used to transform Medicinal Leaves into Crushed Leaves.

Note: This item can be used by any profession.

To do this, you'll need to find the herb in its natural state:

The player can find 3 types of Medicinal Herbs.

Green Medicinal Herb	Yellow Medicinal Herb	Red Medicinal Herb

This resource is collectible by any player, but the items that use them are only craftable by alchemists and academics.

By collecting the Medicinal Herbs, the player will receive Medicinal Leaves in their inventory, which will finally become Crushed Leaves when they use the Mortar.

Exclusive Resources

By using Alchemist Empty Becker on a Wet Strange Plant, the player can collect Dew Beckers, which serve as a resource for several crafting items exclusive to the Alchemist specialization. The Wet Strange Plants are spread across the Nightmare World map and can mainly be found between cities or on isolated islands such as Cosmic Island and Lost Island.

• Daily bonus: The first 50 resources collected during the day receive a 50% bonus on top of the base collection.

• When collecting the resource, the player removes the dew from the plant, causing it to dry out and become a Strange Plant. Due to the 30-minute internal cooldown of each Wet Strange Plant, the player must explore the map in order to perform efficient gathering.

Tip: It is possible to use High Tech Device to transform Dew Beckers into Darkrai Essences.

After collecting a certain amount of dew from Wet Strange Plants, the player will be attacked by a creature called Darkrai Glimpse. After defeating the Darkrai Glimpse, the player can analyze it using the Tablet, which grants a Red Darkrai Essence. This item can be used to produce the Pink Star Piece.

Weekly NPCs

Currently there are 3 types of NPCs associated with the Alchemist specialization. They are always located at a fixed position within the resistances, but they randomly rotate between resistances as days pass. Each resistance hosts only one NPC type per day, and each type is responsible for giving a different weekly task to the player. Completing these tasks grants a variable amount of Dew Beckers and Red Darkrai Essence.

Below the player can check the location of the NPCs inside the resistances. Their names and outfits may appear randomly.

There are three types of tasks that can be received when talking to the NPC: delivering items, defeating Darkrai Minions, and delivering notes. The available tasks are described below:

The NPC will ask the player for a certain quantity of an item from Nightmare World Pokémon, varying according to its NPC price.

Reward: 350 Dew Beckers and 2 Red Darkrai Essence.

The Alchemist NPC will ask the player to deliver some notes to a friend located in a random hunt area within the Nightmare World map.

Reward: 150 Dew Beckers and 1 Red Darkrai Essence.

Berry Tree

Alchemists can collect resources from the Berry Tree, obtaining Berries and Medicinal Leaves.

Attention: Only the first 2 collections of the Berry Tree will grant Berries. After that, the player will only receive Medicinal Leaves.
