Technical Record (TR) é um item que permite ao treinador ensinar um novo moveset completo ao seu Pokémon. O Pokémon que possuir este item poderá desempenhar uma função diferente de sua versão original. Para equipar um TR em um Pokémon, é necessário que o jogador possua a coleção correspondente a ele. Isto é, não será possível utilizar a coleção de um TR Scyther em um Dragonair, por exemplo. Assim como os Pokémon T1H, o uso de um TR é exclusivo para conteúdos PvE, não sendo possível utilizá-los em duelos PvP.
Observações:
- Função Disponível: Causador de Dano Explosivo (BDD)
- Nível para uso: 100+
- Boost necessário para equipar e utilizar o TR: +70
- Forma de obtenção: NPC Terry em Goldenrod City, no continente de Johto.
- Como ativar e desativar um TR: O comando para ativar e desativar a forma TR é !autotm on e !autotm off.
- Em caso de Pokémon equipado com Mega stone: Nesse caso, será necessário que o jogador desative a Mega Evolução para poder ativar o TR.

Forma de Obtenção
Para obter um TR Collection, o jogador deverá ir até o shopping localizado na cidade de Goldenrod, em Johto, e clicar com o botão direito do mouse no painel do elevador para se dirigir ao andar da loja de itens.
Em seguida, basta falar com o NPC Terry para comprar o item correspondente ao Pokémon desejado. Cada coleção terá um custo de $10KK.
Diferentemente dos TM, não é necessário comprar dez discos para formar um TR, visto que este item já é uma coleção completa. Desta forma, basta adquirir apenas um e equipá-lo no Pokémon que atenda os requisitos necessários para uso.
Como remover um TR
É possível retirar o TR equipado no seu Pokémon com o NPC Dr. Gate, localizado na cidade de Blackthorn, em Johto. O NPC irá cobrar 1KK para retirar qualquer TR, independentemente de sua categoria.
